Honestly – we all love travelling. Whether it would be romantic journeys, short escapes or family vacations on the seacoast, there are always certain expectations and wishes. What do we call an ideal trip?
There are a number of ingredients. Smooth take-off and landing, no queues and jams, timely transfer, comfortable place to stay at, exciting walks and wonderful food… and, of course, a good company to travel with – and good memories to keep. And memories – as we all know – are kept in photographs.
We may provide a few tips of how to make your journey both easy and exciting.
Remember of timing! When you are travelling – especially as a big family, planning and timing mean everything. Book your taxi to the airport beforehand. Be on time – or even earlier. It’s better to have some time reserve than to rush in the city hoping to catch the plane.
Keep them busy. Think about how to entertain your children – books, toys, games, even gadgets will save your nerves and time in a long flight and airport procedures.
Take the minimum. Even spontaneous journeys are fine, if you can find at least 30 minutes to make a list of what to take with you. You definitely won’t need all your wardrobe for a 3-day elopement. It’s next to improbable that you’ll wear more than 3 pairs of shoes. No need to pack your best clothes. But as to the medicines, passports, money, credits cards and mobiles – of course, it’s a must.
Make it comfortable.
It’s better to have everything at hand – especially documents, tickets, money, etc. Special small travelling holders will do the job. This is a perfect alternative to your favorite purse – no need to dig it and search for different items. Everything is smartly organized, there are special pockets for cards, passports and coins – in a stylish holder by Katya Iovleva you can carry all the things you need to travel.
Memorize it!
And, of course, you may want to have some professional photos during that journey. This is easy! You can choose between two options: to book a destination photographer beforehand or to take your family photographer with you. The both options are fine, though there are certain advantages and disadvantages. Your destination photographer in the city you are traveling to will probably know the most exciting places to shoot. However, it will take some time until your kids get used to a new person. Your family photographer is the best one to work with your children – but he or she might be new in the city and have to explore it for the first time. Think of it, make a decision – and have a nice trip!
